I Love Ulta

I have an addiction. It's makeup. I love trying new brands and finding great products. I shop at Ulta, probably more than I should, but after my separation and now divorce, looking good just makes me feel better. So I figure on a scale from harmless to rock bottom time for rehab, this makeup addiction is on the benign end of the spectrum. One of the things I love most about Ulta is their rewards program. I earn points for every purchase and those points are worth cash off of future purchases. The points never expire, so that's nice too. Free 8x10 Print at Walgreens

This code is only good through the end of today, but I just used it so I know it's good.
With the code FREE2PRINT you can get a free 8x10 photo print at Walgreens. These are normally priced at $3.99 and if you chose store pickup, your total cost will be $0. I chose to have it mailed to me, which made the cost $1.05. I paid it with PayPal, I love when stores accept PayPal!
In total it took me less time to upload and order the photo than it has to type this blog post. It was quick and easy.

Disney Store Deals!!

I took my daughter to Build-a-Bear last week, and on our way there in the mall we detoured into the Disney Store. I love Disney! So it's super exciting for me that my daughter is at the age where most of their characters appeal to her.
Even more exciting, is the great deals I found! Right now the Disney Store has all their plush toys BOGO for $1. Here's what we chose:

In addition to the plush toy sale, they also had some amazing deals in their clearance section. I love clearance sections, as a rule, and this one certainly didn't disappoint. I got a beautiful Sophia the First atop her flying horse Minimus Christmas ornament for next year. It was a $16 ornament that I paid $1.99 for. I also picked up a couple cute Disney princess winter hats, each originally $15, also for $1.99 each. I don't know about you, but I can always use extra winter hats around here. It seems like one is always going missing, or wet from snow, or left at school. So I like to have some back ups.
All in all, I was really pleased with the deals we found and I'm hoping to make it back soon without my little munchkin so I can really spend some quality time with that clearance section.

Kate Spade on Zulilly

Zulilly always has some great deals, but right now they have Kate Spade bags! I'm totally obsessed with this pink bag! How cute is that for summer!?!
If you've never shopped at Zulilly, basically they have all kinds of designer duds at pretty low prices. Each shopping event lasts for a few days (or weeks depending on the event), and during that time there are a limited number of each item available. I've found some adorable clothing there. Usually I shop for my daughter, but I've also found some great items for me too! In addition to clothing, they sometimes have toys and decorations for your home. If you've got some time, they're definitely worth a look!

Coach Items on 6PM

Today I received a Coach iPad cover that I ordered a few days ago from 6pm.com. The price was phenomenal! MSRP was $168.00, 6PM's price? $34.99! I also had just been emailed a 10% off code that I used to make the purchase. Shipping is always fast and free, so my grand total was $31.49. Can't beat that with a stick! I'm writing about this because I just love this site. I've gotten so many amazing deals! Now, if they just had the Skechers Flash Mob white/pink/lavender in my size!

Children's Place Deals

Earlier today my step dad sent me an email about this website, Dan's Deals. I went to check it out and found some pretty great deals on kids clothing from The Children's Place. Apparently there are some glitches on the website that are causing the prices to show up in the cart lower than expected. I'm not sure if it's a mistake on the page showing the price, or a mistake in how they're loading in the cart. Either way, there are some fantastic deals. I just ordered 2 pairs of capris, a swimsuit cover-up and a pair of matching shoes for $5.79! That total includes the free shipping as well! Zulilly

One of My favorite shopping sites is Zulilly. I've gotten some really cute kids clothes through them, most recently a personalized dress that my daughter wore for boarding the ship when we were on our recent cruise. If you're not familiar with Zulilly, it's a site where the deals on certain brands change every few days. I love their kids' clothes, but they sell something for everyone really. They had some amazing swingsets this past week, that made me wish we hadn't gotten the set that we did a few years back. They sell a little of everything and it's usually really high quality, high end brands too!

Kids Bowl Free

I'm not a bowler. I'm not good at bowling and I don't generally think of it when I'm looking for ideas of things to do with the kids. That being said, there are a whole lot of bowling allies around the US that are trying to change that kind of thinking in people like me. There's a program called Kids Bowl Free and there are lots of participating locations. Registration is free and every child registered can bowl 2 free games each day all summer long! There are also some low cost family packages that you can tie in if you wish, but there is no cost and no obligation of any kind for the kids program.
