Paula's Choice = Amazing!

I was recently browsing around the campaigns that are going on with BzzAgent, a site I absolutely love. I wasn't picked to join the Paula's Choice campaign, however the product looked interesting so I decided to check it out. The first thing I found out about Paula's Choice is that they let you buy sample sizes of all their products so you can try a small amount before committing to a full size one. I ordered a few samples and gave them a try. I have never in my life been so excited about a face product as I am about Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid! This stuff is absolutely amazing! It has changed my skin so much in the past couple weeks, I can't even believe it. I have been fighting acne breakouts for almost 20 years now. I have been applying this to my face at night after washing my face and every morning I wake up with my skin looking even better than the day before. I almost can't believe it! I keep looking in the mirror because I'm so amazed with the change. I have been using this under my makeup during the day as well. It is not just for acne, it shrinks pores, clears black heads, and overall just makes skin look more radiant. If you're interested in trying out any of Paula's Choice products, using this link will automatically take $10 off of your total at checkout! You'll also have the opportunity to pick 3 free samples to be mailed with your order. Lastly, Paula's Choice stand behind their products, so if you are not satisfied they will work with you on a refund or getting you a different product. That really says something to me!

March Birchbox

My Birchbox this month was alright. I'm still not 100% sold on them, though I have to admit I have gotten a couple products that I really like and my opinion of them is improving. My biggest complaint I guess would have to be that my samples don't seem to completely relate to the profile I filled out. For example, this month I received a sample of Curl Keeper. Um, my hair isn't curly. At all. The Coola Sun Screen I will probably try out on my upcoming vacation. My mom happened to be in town when my March box arrived, so I gave her the tea samples and the dark chocolate. I dislike dark chocolate, so it was a bad fit for me, but my mom said it was fantastic. The Air Repair seems to be a great moisturizing salve and the Vasanti Brighten Up Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator is fantastic! Last month I received the Miracle Skin Face Spotlight which is now one of my all time favorite products, so I definitely have to thank Birchbox for turning me on to that! Imaginarium Creations

I posted earlier about a craft kit I disliked, so I thought I would post about one that I really like. This jug from Imaginarium Creations is really cool. It's filled with tons of craft items and the pictures on the jug can actually be made with the jug's contents. Below are just a few of the crafts that my daughter made, with a little help from mom. I found this kit online at Toys R Us for $19.99, here.

Go Create? More like No Create.

So the other day I was looking for something to occupy my daughter for a little while and I remembered that she had received a few craft sets for Christmas that we never opened. One of them was this Neon Ultimate Fuzzy Kit from Go Create. It looked really cute, with the pictures of the monsters on the front. I opened the box and started pulling things out only to find that you can't actually make the monsters on the front! It turns out that the kit doesn't actually include the pieces to make the heads, feet, tongues or teeth. Also, although it says it includes 250 poms, most of them are smaller than a pea. I mean they're seriously tiny. Yes, it does list what is included on the box, but it still irks me. My 3 year old can't read so all she could see was the pics on the box. She was totally bummed when we realized that it wasn't going to be possible to make monsters like the ones shown. We ended up still making some very cute crafts but I'm still not happy with the makers of this set. They shouldn't put anything on the box that someone can't make with what's inside the box.

Diva Stuff Update

Initially I was pretty impressed with all of the Diva Stuff products. They seemed to do what they promised and the cost was very low. However, after using the Diva Stuff products for a few more days the Blemish Bomb and the lotion began to irritate my face. Since it began to burn pretty badly, I discontinued using those products. I still think the Charcoal Scrubbies are pretty cool, though I am not using them every day. The Eyelash Conditioner I am still using every day. This was probably the biggest surprise for me since it was the product that I was the most skeptical about. I really do think it is making my eyelashes stronger, fuller and longer too! Because it was the least expensive product I ordered and I think it's working, I definitely feel comfortable recommending it to anyone. The Lip Balm, well I'm not totally sold on the scent, but it does feel nice on my lips.

Diva Stuff

I have read some really great reviews of the beauty products offered by Diva Stuff. The products are all natural and I have never seen products that have NO bad reviews. They sell on Amazon as well as their own site and even on Amazon the reviews are all positive. I decided to give Diva Stuff a try and I placed an order earlier this week. My order arrived today and in addition to the 3 products I ordered, the package also contained 2 freebies! That says a lot to me. If a company is willing to give you their products to try, they clearly have faith that you will like them enough to purchase them in the future. The prices were all very reasonable, including shipping I paid under $25 for the whole order! I ordered the Charcoal & Bamboo Face Scrubbies, the Blemish Bomb and the Eyelash Conditioner. The Anti Acne Face Cream and the Hydrating Lip Balm Sangria were sent for free. I'll be trying all of these products out this week so I'll see if they live up to all the great buzz! Either way, I'll be back to post a review. When ordering, I did have a hard time getting the form to go though from my iPad. I ended up having to use my computer to complete the transaction. Just an FYI incase anyone else experiences difficulty trying to order from a tablet.
